Ankara tourist activities started with Anıtkabir visit
The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has organized various events within the framework of the “Tourism Week from April 15 to 22”. The Department of Culture and Social Affairs organized for the first time an event “awareness of culture and tourism” to introduce the capital to students of the Professional Tourism High School. 45 students who participated in the activities that started with the visit to Anıtkabir watched with interest the Seymenler and Janissary Band performance held in the Youth Park.
The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality is carrying out activities aimed at reviving the capital’s tourism as well as its historical and cultural values.
With the aim of presenting the capital to the world, the metropolitan municipality organized for the first time an event of “awareness of culture and tourism”, with the participation of the students of the private vocational and technical high school TURSAB and the vocational and technical high school from Anatolia Çankaya Borsa İstanbul. Lycée, due to the “Tourism Week from April 15 to 22”.
ACTIVITIES BEGIN WITH A VISIT TO ANITKABIR
45 students, who were taken to Anıtkabir under the coordination of the Directorate of the Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs Tourism Branch Directorate, then watched with interest the Seymenler and Janissary Band performance held in the Youth Park.
Ali Bozkurt, head of the department of culture and social affairs, said that he organized this event for the students of the tourism vocational high school for the first time, and said:
“As the culture department, we believe that tourism is an important factor in promoting Ankara. We plan to organize events to publicize the historical, tourist, archaeological, health and spa capacity of the capital both inside and outside. We care about tourism high schools, students will later participate in this industry and become employees of the industry. At this point, I want to unite with them today in terms of awareness. We will have more different events in the coming years.
Ankara Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Ali Ayvazoğlu said he was happy to meet the youngsters at the event, which Fehmi Cem Yücel, President of Ankara Chamber of Professional Tour Guides, said. also participated, and expressed his thoughts: to natural beauty.
