Jordan Free & Development Zones undertakes the development of the zone within the framework of a master plan which depends on the rehabilitation of the zones under its responsibility according to a well considered schedule. Can you describe one of the group’s projects in the development zone?

One of the most important parts of the Dead Sea development area is the corniche district or the sea promenade. Located in the northern part of the Dead Sea and extending over 2.1 km, it is intended for small and medium-sized investments, with a total of sixty investment opportunities with areas varying between one and 17 dunams (1 dunam is equal to 900 square meters). Plots of investment opportunities have been defined and distributed in such a way as to meet the aspirations of internal tourism and the requirements of investors, particularly local ones, in terms of surfaces and uses, so that the investments are distributed gradually according to the infrastructure design and construction programs service provision.

The Cable Car (Telfrik) project in Ajloun Governorate is considered as one of the pioneering national projects which has received sublime royal patronage with the aim of contributing to the sustainable development of Ajloun Governorate and showcasing it as a distinct tourist destination with its picturesque landscapes and monuments. that combine originality and modernity.

The cable car project (Telfrik) in Ajloun will have a length of about 2.5 km and will have about 40 trolleys, which can be increased to 60, each of which can accommodate up to 8 people.

Can you describe the investment opportunities in Al Suwan Development Zone and the role of JFDZ?

JFDZ has taken upon itself the responsibility of developing Al Suwan Development Zone by forming the first nucleus of the zone in particular and Ajloun Governorate in general.
